Signing an agreement with Greece: Ukraine is on the way to security

Ukraine and Greece are going to sign a bilateral security agreement soon, the press service of the President's Office reports.


During a meeting between Spyridon Lambridis, Special Envoy of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Ukraine, and Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, the two expressed gratitude to Athens for its support. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation in view of the needs of the Ukrainian military.


They also discussed Greece's support for the Ukrainian “peace formula” and preparations for the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland.


The President's Office announces the intention to finalize negotiations on a security agreement in the near future aimed at strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Greece, including support for its European and Atlantic course.
