Romania is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky said after a phone conversation with his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis. Zelensky said this on Telegram.
He also emphasized that during the phone conversation he had expressed gratitude to Romania for its support and emphasized the importance of the new military aid package.
The President of Ukraine also shared with Iohannis information on the current situation on the frontline and the main defense needs of the country, in particular in the field of air defense of various types.
The two leaders agreed to accelerate work on a bilateral security agreement.
Zelensky also expressed gratitude to Iohannis for his support in connection with his participation in the Peace Summit in Switzerland and for his willingness to help attract other countries to participate.
