Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is still on the verge of death. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Reuters reports.

The Hungarian prime minister said he “prays for Fico and worries about Slovakia.”

“We wish him a speedy recovery and return to work. Robert Fico is on the verge of life and death,” he said.

According to him, even if Fico recovers, he will not be able to work in the coming months at an important time before the European Parliament elections.

“We are facing an election that will decide not only the issues of MEPs, but together with the US election, may determine the course of war and peace in Europe. In this situation, we could really need Robert Fico and a peace-minded Slovakia,” Orban said.

As a reminder, on May 15, Robert Fico was assassinated.
