Polish President Andrzej Duda explained that his country is currently receiving only the initial Patriot systems, which were ordered seven years ago. This complicates the possibility of transferring air defense systems to Ukraine, Duda said.


He noted that it is difficult to talk about the transfer of the Patriot system when Poland itself has not yet received them for its defense needs.


The President also emphasized that Poland has played a key role in providing military equipment to Ukraine and constantly supports it in this regard. An additional component of this support, he said, is lobbying by allies to support Ukraine.
