The United States will announce the delivery of new weapons packages to Ukraine in the coming weeks, and Ukraine must solve the problem of manpower. This was stated by US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller during a briefing.
A journalist asked what the main focus of the support would be, whether the situation with Ukraine's manpower is a concern and what the United States could do about it.
“As for manpower, this is a question that Ukraine, of course, has to answer for itself. And we have seen the Ukrainian government take steps to address this issue. What we can do as a partner of Ukraine is to continue to support them militarily and continue to support their economy, and above all, do everything we can to help them get to a position where they can stand on their own two feet,” Miller explained.
He noted that the United States is implementing a number of measures for this.
“And you've seen us implement a number of things in that regard. We have started to see money that has been transferred to the additional package. I can assure you that there will be more announcements - they will appear in the additional package,” he said.
The State Department representative also said that in the next few weeks there will be even more announcements about the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
