In an unannounced visit to Kyiv, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron told Reuters that Great Britain will provide Ukraine with three billion pounds in annual military aid. This pledge represents the largest amount of UK support since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.
Cameron also welcomed the adoption of a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine by the US Congress. He emphasized the importance of this step both in terms of weapons and moral support for the Ukrainian people.
Regarding the possible re-election of Republican leader Donald Trump as US president, Cameron refused to comment directly, saying that this decision belongs to the Americans, and the UK will cooperate with any elected leader.
