Ukraine's survival is important to the USA, but Europe should increase aid to the country, - Donald Trump

Ukraine's survival is important to the USA, but Europe is much more interested in it and should increase its aid. Former US President Donald Trump wrote about this on Thursday on his social network Truth Social, Reuters reports.

"As everyone agrees, the survival and strength of Ukraine should be much more important to Europe than to us, but it is also important to us!" Trump said.

At the same time, the former US president accused European allies of not spending enough money to support Ukraine.

"Why doesn't Europe give more money to help Ukraine? Why does the United States invest over $100 billion more than Europe in the war in Ukraine, and we are separated by an ocean! Why can't Europe equalize or match the money the United States is investing to help a country that desperately needs help?" he wrote.

It is worth noting that, at Trump's suggestion, Republicans have been blocking the allocation of aid to Ukraine for several months. And now when Speaker Johnson has allocated aid to Ukraine in a separate bill, Trump's supporters are opposing it.
