Shelling of Pokrovsk: Russians bombed the office of an international organization

Russians bombed and completely destroyed the office of Doctors Without Borders in Donetsk region. Local residents were injured as a result of the Russian attack. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Doctors Without Borders organization.

"Today, on April 5, around 3:00 a.m., the office of Doctors Without Borders in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, was bombed and completely destroyed. Our colleagues were not injured," the organization said.

Five local residents who were near the office were injured in the Russian attack.

"We condemn the attack on the office, which provided emergency medical humanitarian aid to people in the Donetsk region. Doctors Without Borders calls for the protection of its facilities, as well as civilians, humanitarian and health workers," the organization added.

Vincenzo Porpiglia, Emergency Coordinator of Doctors Without Borders in Ukraine, emphasized that the attack on the organization's office is far from an isolated incident.

"The destruction of civilian infrastructure has been a characteristic feature of this war for a long time," Porpiglia emphasized.
