Russia's FSB chief claims Ukraine's involvement in organizing the terrorist attack in Crocus and calls Budanov a "legitimate target"

The Russian Federation continues to accuse Ukraine of organizing the terrorist attack in Crocus. The head of the FSB, Alexander Bortnikov, said that "the terrorist attack was prepared by radical Islamists, and the special services of Ukraine contributed to everything."

Bortnikov told journalists that "Ukraine was training militants in the Middle East".

He said that the Russian Federation had "previously received information about Kyiv's involvement in the terrorist attack in the Moscow region," but at the same time said that the mastermind of the attack had not yet been identified.

Bortnikov claims that the militants were going to get from Russia to Ukraine, where they were "waiting" and "wanted to meet them as heroes."

In addition, the head of the FSB said that the SBU should be recognized as a "terrorist organization" in Russia, and that the head of the GUR Budanov is "a legitimate target for the Russian Armed Forces, like everyone who commits crimes against Russia."

Regarding the American warnings about a possible terrorist attack, he said that "the information was of a general nature, and Russian special services responded to it."
