European Parliament approves allocation of €50 billion to Ukraine for four years

The European Parliament has approved the creation of an aid fund for Ukraine and the transfer of 50 billion euros over four years. This was stated by Radio Liberty correspondent Rikard Jozwiak in X.


"The European Parliament overwhelmingly approved the allocation of 50 billion euros to Ukraine," he said.


It is reported that 536 MEPs voted for, 40 voted against.

 

 

As a reminder, on February 1, at a special summit in Brussels, EU leaders approved the allocation of EUR 50 billion to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility program for 2024-2027.
