Today, in Lviv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen signed a "agreement on security guarantees". This was reported by Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva on Facebook.
The document is called "Agreement on Security Cooperation and Long-Term Support between Ukraine and Denmark."
According to Zhovkva, the document stipulates Denmark's military support for Ukraine in 2024 in the amount of at least 1.8 billion euros. And another 8.5 billion euros in 2023-2028.
Denmark also promises to support the F-16 coalition, in particular, to provide aircraft, ammunition, simulators, as well as to support the long-term maintenance of fighters and the creation of appropriate conditions in Ukraine.
The agreement is valid for ten years, just like other agreements that Ukraine has already concluded.
