The Netherlands is joining a military coalition that will provide Ukraine with advanced drone technology and strengthen its offensive capabilities in the war against Russia. This was announced in an interview with Reuters by Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren.


This step is in addition to the previously announced deliveries of F-16 fighter jets, as well as artillery, ammunition and air defense systems that the Netherlands is already providing to Ukraine.


Ollongren noted that drones play an important role in the current conflict, and therefore their supply is a priority.


The Netherlands also expressed its readiness for additional costs to support Ukraine in this initiative.
