On February 7, Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, visited the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. He reported this on the social network X.
This is the fourth visit of the IAEA head to Europe's largest nuclear power plant, which has been occupied by the Russians since February 2022.
According to Grossi, he assessed compliance with the five principles of the International Atomic Energy Agency for protecting the plant, as well as the condition of the current power and cooling systems, the level of qualified personnel, and much more.
"These are vital assessments of the safety and security of the facility - there is no room for complacency," the IAEA Director General said.
