Six stations of the blue metro line in Kyiv will be closed for six months

In Kyiv, starting December 9, metro traffic will be closed at six stations of the blue line - from "Demiivska" to "Teremky", the KCSA reports.

There is an urgent need to repair the distillation tunnel between the stations due to soil movement, as there is a risk of loss of stability of the tunnel structures. According to preliminary estimates, the repair will take six months.

Trains will run only from "Heroiv Dnipra" station to "Lybidska" station. Duplicate ground transportation routes will be launched from "Teremky" to "Lybidska".

"Demiivska", "Holosiivska", "Vasylkivska", "Vystavkovyy Tsentr", "Ipodrom", and "Teremky" metro stations will operate in shelter mode around the clock.
