President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda. One of the main topics was the export of Ukrainian grain. This was reported by the head of the Lithuanian state with reference to LRT.
Nauseda also noted that he had held talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda.
He emphasized that during the meetings with the Ukrainian and Polish leaders, they discussed the simplification of grain transportation procedures through Poland and the increase of transit through Lithuania.
Nauseda also responded to Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki's statement about stopping arms supplies to Ukraine.
"For the sake of the common, main goal of protecting Europe from Russia's aggressive, expansionist policy, the differences between Ukraine and Poland should be resolved as soon as possible. Poland's place in providing support is unique. It is necessary to find a solution, as further deepening of the crisis would be irresponsible," Nauseda said.
According to him, it is not about the security of individual countries, but about the security of the entire region and even the continent. Therefore, only joint efforts can counter the danger of external threats.
