Vitalii Bezgin, a member of the Local Self-Government Committee, said that by the end of summer 2023, partners from Sweden will approve their strategy for supporting Ukraine. Our country will become the only recipient of aid from a certain program.

 This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.

 It is noted that Sweden is preparing a document according to which a specific country, Ukraine, will become the only recipient of aid from a specific program. This is the first document of its kind in the history of EU countries.

 The key areas of support will be:

 mobile TsNAP;

 bomb shelters in schools;

 demining

 Bezgin specified that a separate point of negotiations with colleagues from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom was Sweden's advocacy for the restoration of communities at a distance of up to 70 km from the border with Russia.

 In this direction, Sweden will become a leader and defend our interest before other EU members.

 As a reminder, the artillery park of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be replenished with Archer self-propelled guns from Sweden during the summer. Currently, Ukrainian fighters are completing a training course.

 It was also reported that Swedish military instructors conduct training of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom in Great Britain.
