As of May 8, 90 vessels are awaiting inspection in Turkish territorial waters, of which 62 are vessels that are being loaded.
On Monday, May 8, Russia again blocked the registration and inspections of the incoming fleet as part of the Grain Initiative.
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
"Russia's destructive policy makes it impossible to draw up an inspection plan in accordance with the procedures of the SCC, which provide for daily approval by all parties of the inspection plan for both exit and entry," the message says.
The ministry adds that as of May 8, 90 vessels are awaiting inspection in Turkish territorial waters, of which 62 are vessels that are being loaded.
"The export of Ukrainian agricultural products through the grain corridor in April did not reach 3 million tons. Ukraine categorically does not accept Russia's efforts to stop the registration and inspection of the incoming fleet, which should take place in view of the working Initiative. We are waiting for the position of our partners, the UN and Turkey," added the Ministry of Infrastructure.
This is far from the first such actions by Russia.
On April 26, the Russian Federation blocked the work of the Black Sea Grain Initiative for the third time in a month.
On April 10, Russia unilaterally stopped the registration of ships bound for Ukrainian ports to form an inspection plan.
A week later, the Russian side again blocked the inspection of vessels - on April 17-18, no inspection plan was drawn up and no inspection was conducted in Turkish territorial waters.
