As of January 5, the Russian occupiers killed 452 children in Ukraine. In total, since the beginning of Russia's armed aggression, 1,329 children have been injured. This is reported by the General Prosecutor's Office.

 Also, the number of wounded reached more than 877.

 The most affected children were in Donetsk oblast - 429, Kharkiv oblast - 268, Kyiv oblast - 117, Kherson oblast - 82, Mykolaiv oblast - 81, Zaporizhzhya oblast - 81, Chernihiv oblast - 68, Luhansk oblast - 65, Dnipropetrovsk oblast - 40.

 As a result of bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces, 3,126 educational institutions were damaged. 337 of them were completely destroyed.

 The figures are not final. Work is ongoing to establish the number of victims in the places of hostilities, in liberated territories and temporarily occupied territories.

 As a result of the war in Ukraine, 352 children went missing.
