The NATO Secretary General called on Moscow to continue the grain agreement

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday called on Russia to continue the grain agreement and ensure a constant supply of food to poor countries.

"We call on Russia to extend the UN grain agreement concluded with the assistance of Turkey and to ensure continued food supplies to those who need it most," Stoltenberg said at a joint press conference with Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuc on Wednesday.

We will remind you that on July 22, a document was signed in Istanbul with the participation of the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports - Chornomorsk, Odesa and Pivdenny. The agreement expires on November 19. The UN and Turkey previously called for the extension of the agreement.
