The lack of knowledge leads to the appearance of people who call for understanding Russia - Zelenskiy

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said that the lack of knowledge leads to the appearance of people who call to "understand Russia".

"We have to speak frankly: there are still enough figures in Europe who call to "understand" Russia and try to ignore the terrorist policy of states like Iran. There are such people in various fields - in politics, business, public organizations and the media. Why is it possible? What causes this? One answer: lack of knowledge. Lack of knowledge in the public majority," he said on Friday in a video address to the participants of the Frankfurt Book Fair.

"Create, distribute books about those who weakened Europe through corruption or simply indifference. Let them know about them. About those who gave power to terrorist states. Spread the stories of the victories of freedom. People should know about it," Zelenskiy said. .

"I invited publishers and authors, businessmen and public figures, teachers and journalists to Ukraine! Look at what our people are going through. What we have already managed to achieve. What threats do we still have. Look - and talk about it. To tell, because it threatens other peoples of Europe. So far, terrorist states still exist," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
