Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Raphael Grossi, announced the release of Igor Murashov, Director General of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, who was captured by the Russian military on September 30.

 

 "I welcome the release of Ihor Murashov. I have received confirmation that he has returned safely to his family," Grossi wrote on Twitter on Monday.

 

 

 

 We will remind, as reported by NAEK "Energoatom", at around 16:00 on September 30, Murashov was detained by a Russian patrol on the road from the station to Energodar and blindfolded and taken to an unknown destination.
