The head of the Foreign Ministry of the Czech Republic received the Order of Merit from Ukraine

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky received the Order of Merit from Ukraine.

He announced this on his Twitter.

"It is an honor for me to receive the Order of Merit from President Volodymyr Zelensky. This is an award for the entire Czech diplomacy for supporting Ukraine and helping in the defense against Putin's barbaric war. The Czech Republic is with you and will remain with you until Ukraine wins," Lipavsky wrote.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba is visiting Prague today. Speaking about the visit, he said that he was particularly impressed by the last action of the Czechs on the anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia: people transferred 1,968 or 68 crowns to support Ukraine and collected a total of more than 24 million Czech crowns. Yan Lipavsky also contributed.

"Ukrainians are now also fighting for the Czechs, and I will always remember their sincere support," Kuleba said.

In the capital of the Czech Republic, which presides over the Council of the EU, on August 30, an informal meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs, as well as a meeting of the ministers of defense, will be held, at which they will discuss, in particular, further support for Ukraine.
