At the same time, the export-import capacity to Romania will be reduced from 100MW to 50MW starting from this date.

To recap, Ukraine in March filed an application to join the European ENTSO-E energy system and in early June received the right to export its energy to Europe.

Ukraine started exporting electricity to Romania on June 30, marking the beginning of commercial electricity exchange between Ukraine and the EU. The exchange should then begin on other interconnections as well.
