Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will soon hold a meeting with the four EU leaders, who arrived in Kyiv today. Among the main topics of the talks, in particular, are weapons and food security, said Head of the Office of the President Andrei Yermak.
"French President Macron, German Chancellor Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Draghi and Romanian President Johannis have arrived in Kyiv. A meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will take place soon. Food security, weapons and support for Ukraine are important topics for discussion," Yermak noted on Telegram.
Macron made the statement.
"We carry a message of support and unity for the EU. This is an important point. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will get a message of European unity, support, addressed to all Ukrainians," French President Emmanuel Macron told the media upon his arrival at Kyiv railway station, Rai News reported.
It also became known that the full European delegation arrived in Irpen.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, and Romanian President Klaus Johannis came to Kyiv on June 16.
