The president signed a bill that would allow Poles de facto and de jure to get the same opportunities as Ukrainians

During his nightly address Volodymyr Zelensky said that he signed a bill that would allow Poles de facto and de jure get the same opportunities as Ukrainians. About this informs UNN.

"The new decision is the preparation of the bill, which will mirror the law adopted in Poland on our citizens, the Ukrainian. How are they now? Ukrainians and Ukrainians who are temporarily in Poland, fleeing this war, de facto and de jure received the same opportunities as Poles," - said the President.

Zelensky stressed that this would be the right gesture.

"May it be that the citizens of Poland will never have to use such a law. But let's show our gratitude and our respect," noted Volodymyr Zelensky.

The head of state added that it became an element of the new policy of neighborhood between Ukraine and Poland.

"We must resolve the disputes and remove the pressure of the past from our modern relations with all the neighbors of Ukraine who respect us and who are not occupiers of our state," the address said.
