Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he had "productive talks" with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

 

The head of state wrote about it in Twitter.

 

"Held productive talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Discussed the situation on the front, the continued pressure on Russia, the strengthening of sanctions, the prospects for peace. We appreciate German support, including defense support. We count on Germany's further assistance on Ukraine's path to full membership in the EU," the President of Ukraine wrote.
