In the 200th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation only three people out of 648 survived - Arestovich

The 200th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation has three survivors out of 648 servicemen who fought against Ukraine, and two of them are wounded.

Oleksiy Arestovich, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President, told this at a briefing.

"The battalion-tactical group of the 200th, an unfortunate name, separate motorized rifle brigade, which participated in the "special military operation" on the territory of Ukraine, suffered significant losses in manpower: from 648 soldiers who were sent to conduct combat operations, six were killed.Only three remained (alive), two of them were injured," Arestovich noted.

In addition, he reported that despite the intimidation of the personnel of the 7th Airborne Assault Mountain Division from Novorossiysk to imprisonment for up to two years for refusing to participate in the war against Ukraine, about 50% of the personnel of one of the regiments of the division wrote reports on refusing to participate in combat operations.

The adviser to the head of the OP noted that the advanced command post of this division is located at an airfield in Chornobaevka, Kherson Oblast.

"Now we understand the state of mind of servicemen who categorically refuse to go to fight in Ukraine," Arestovich said.

He added that it is known about the refusal of personnel from units of the Russian Federal Guard and police to go to Ukraine. Thus, according to him, in Rostov-on-Don, 12 such persons are now being persecuted by the Russian authorities.
