The U.S. and the EU will announce sanctions against Russia for the invasion of Ukraine in the near future. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this during an online broadcast.
"I spoke with Josep Borrell, the head of European diplomacy. He assured me that they will be introduced within the next 24 hours," the minister said.
"Also, the United States sanctions will be announced soon, and I have conversations scheduled with the U.S. Secretary of State in a couple of hours," he added.
