Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently planning to carry out internal destabilization in Ukraine. The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, said this in an interview.

Danilov believes that Putin's goal is to destroy Ukraine as a separate state, and ideally to restore the Soviet Union.

The NSDC secretary claims that as soon as the situation inside our country is undermined, the Russian head of state will be able to use it to "do his black business.

He also added that in the absence of destabilization in Ukraine, it will be much more difficult for Putin to realize the goals that the Russian side has set for itself.

"...Let's start from the beginning. What is Putin's plan? It's pretty simple, we're talking about it publicly - it's the destruction of us as a state... What is Putin's plan today? Internal destabilization in our country...," the interlocutor said.
