On the night of May 14, Russians attacked Ukraine using 18 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs from Cape Chauda. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
In addition, Russians attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the same Crimea.
The attack was repelled by fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare units.
As a result of the air battle, all 18 enemy Shaheds were shot down in Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
