Russian troops in Kharkiv region have increased the gray zone. This was stated by the head of the Kharkiv RMA, Oleh Synegubov, during a telethon.
He said that the Russian army is attacking in small groups in new directions, trying to stretch the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“There is an increase in the gray zone, an increase in the front line, because the enemy is trying to deliberately stretch them, attacking in small groups in new directions,” the head of the RMA said.
At the same time, Synegubov claims that the situation, although difficult, is fully controlled by the Armed Forces.
He also said that evacuation of residents from dangerous areas continues. 5,700 people have already been evacuated, and another 1,600 citizens are scheduled to be evacuated on May 13.
“We have just completed a meeting of the Regional Defense Council, where we discussed the forced evacuation of status children, orphans or children deprived of parental care, from the dangerous territories,” said Synegubov.
