Night attack on Ukraine: 17 out of 20 drones shot down

Russian troops once again attacked Ukraine at night using two dozen Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Air defense forces shot down 17 of them. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.


It is clarified that the enemy launched 20 attack drones from Cape Chauda (occupied Crimea) on the night of May 9.


Combat work to repel the enemy attack continued in Odesa region.


“As a result of combat work, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 17 attack UAVs in Odesa region,” the general noted.
