Attack on the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai: Reports of explosions confirm a possible drone attack

On the night of May 2, explosions occurred in Russia's Krasnodar Krai near the village of Afipsky, where an oil refinery is located. The statement was made with reference to the Russian Telegram channel Shot.





Witnesses reported hearing the characteristic sound of engines, probably drones, flying in the sky. It is noted that there were three explosions in total.


According to preliminary information, the drones were heading towards an oil refinery, but were shot down by an air defense system.


Russia claims that the drones belonged to the Ukrainian side.


There is currently no official data on damage and casualties, and the governor of Krasnodar Krai did not comment on the incident.
