Russians may transfer troops withdrawn from Nagorno-Karabakh to Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by BILD military analyst Julian Röpke.
As a reminder, Russia began withdrawing a contingent of about 2,000 soldiers last week. They had been in Karabakh since the autumn of 2020.
The troops, along with heavy equipment, are being transported from Azerbaijan by rail across the border to Dagestan.
According to a BILD analyst, there are "some concerns" that this contingent, including dozens of fairly new BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, will go to Ukraine.
