Russia attacked Trypillia TPP with new X-69 missiles: military is looking for ways to counteract

On the night of April 11, Russia attacked the Trypillia TPP in Kyiv region with relatively new X-69 missiles, and the Defense Forces are studying how to counter them. Illia Yevlash, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this during a telethon.

According to him, these are "fresh" missiles, the parts for which were manufactured last year. At the same time, there is speculation that Russia has already used this type of missile in Ukraine.

"The enemy is constantly trying to produce new missiles. However, everything depends on the success of their production. How much they will be able to provide themselves with various semiconductors, chips, microcircuits and other things," Yevlash said.

The spokesman noted that the X-69 is a new target for the Ukrainian military, so they are looking for ways to counter it.

"And it is likely that Patriot will also be able to resist it, as it has fought enough with more sophisticated types of missiles, such as Zircon and Kinzhal," he said.
