The issue of forced mobilization of women is not currently on the agenda in Ukraine. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
The Center noted that information is currently being actively spread that Ukraine is going to amend the legislation on women's mobilization.
The Center emphasizes that no law related to mobilization provides for the mobilization of women.
"So the information being spread is fake. The issue of women's mobilization is not relevant today and is not considered by the authorities. Women can mobilize to the Ukrainian Defense Forces only on a voluntary basis. There are no plans to do otherwise," the CCD emphasized.
The Center for Countering Disinformation called on Ukrainians to trust only verified sources of information.
