This year, Ukraine will be able to attack the Russian Urals and Polar Regions with drones with a range of 2000 km or more. This was reported by Bild, citing sources.
"Missiles are a thing of the past. Drones are the future," says the interlocutor of the publication.
According to him, by the end of the year, 10 manufacturers will supply the Armed Forces with drones with a range of up to 2500 km. And the Kyiv-based Luch Design Bureau has developed the Sokil-3000 drone, which can fly up to 3,300 km.
According to Bild's calculations, Ukraine will be able to use them to attack targets, for example, in the Murmansk region, where there are about 80 military bases. Including the Olenya airfield, where strategic bombers that attack Ukraine are based.
As for the shelling of Tatarstan, according to the publication, a modified Ukrainian UJ-22 drone, which previously flew 800 km and now apparently has received additional fuel tanks, was used, as well as a drone based on the Ukrainian ultralight Aeropract A-22 "Flying Fox" aircraft.
