Media: SBU attacked Morozovsk airfield in Russia, 6 planes were destroyed

The SBU, together with the military and the Defense Forces, attacked the Morozovsk airfield in Russia. At least 6 planes were destroyed and 8 were severely damaged. Ukrainian media reported this with reference to their own sources.

According to the sources, Su-24, Su-24M, and Su-34 frontline bombers were based at the airfield - these are the aircraft Russia uses to drop KABs on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and frontline Ukrainian cities.

"The results of the joint special operation are impressive - at least 6 Russian military aircraft were destroyed, and another 8 were heavily damaged," the source said.

Allegedly, Russian troops also suffered losses.

"This is an important special operation that will significantly reduce the combat potential of the Russians," the source said.

Ukraine and Russia have not officially confirmed the damage to the aircraft.
