Russian troops are constantly shelling Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region, destroying the city more and more. This was reported by the head of the local city military administration Serhii Chaus during a telethon.
"Today's situation is probably the most difficult one ever. The shelling is intensifying every day. Today is just a crazy day, thank God, no casualties, but a lot of damaged housing, fires. Every day we see exactly this picture, so it is getting more and more difficult," said Chaus. - "We can feel that the offensive is intensifying.
According to him, "there is practically no business left in Chasiv Yar," with only one store operating in the city.
"The basic needs of the citizens are being met on a spot basis. As for water, it's more difficult because it needs to be delivered. We have a well, but it is difficult to provide more than 700 people with water. That is why we have humanitarian aid distribution points equipped with water tanks," said the head of the CMA.
