The aerospace forces of the Russian Federation has more than 200 Su-34, Su-35 and A-50U aircraft. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence in a comment to ArmyInform.
As of March 2024, the Russian Aerospace Forces have:
- about 100 Su-35 multirole fighters;
- more than 100 Su-34 fighter-bombers;
- seven A-50U long-range radar detection and guidance aircraft.
The intelligence service added that three A-50Us are currently undergoing repairs and modernization:
- two aircraft at the Beriev Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex, OJSC;
- one at the Aviastar aircraft manufacturing plant.
