President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has introduced the new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko, to the staff. The decree on his appointment was issued on Tuesday.
"He is a professional person, he perfectly understands intelligence activities and our main state goal now," the head of state emphasized.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukrainian intelligence should work everywhere in the world where there are and may be Ukrainian interests.
"Everywhere in the world where Putin's system tries to win something for itself, Ukraine must win," he emphasized.
Zelensky said that during the war, there are non-public things that the Service must provide promptly and efficiently.
"This is the potential of influence, intelligence work and military activities that Ukraine expects from you, and this is why the Foreign Intelligence Service is headed by a combat general," he added.
