The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solskyi, who is suspected of corruption schemes with land, has been granted bail of over UAH 75 million. The information was provided by law enforcement sources.

After his release from the pre-trial detention center, the minister was subject to a number of restrictions, including the obligation to appear at the request of an NABU detective, investigator or court, not to leave Kyiv, not to communicate with witnesses in the case, to deposit his passport and other documents, and to wear an electronic bracelet.

Solskyi is also banned from communicating with his deputy.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy clarified that Solskyi has been released from custody, but he continues to fulfill the powers of the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Earlier, we reported that the High Anti-Corruption Court had imposed a pre-trial restraint on Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyi. He was sent to custody until June 24, 2024.
