The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a pre-trial restraint on Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyi. He was sent to custody until June 24, 2024. This became known from the broadcast of the court hearing.
The HACC ruled to impose on Solskyi a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention for 60 days with the possibility of bail in the amount of 25,000 subsistence minimums (UAH 75.7 million).
The judge noted that if bail is granted, Solskyi will be subject to procedural obligations, namely: to appear at every request of the investigator (detective), prosecutor and court; not to leave Kyiv without permission; to report changes in his place of residence and place of work; to refrain from communicating with witnesses in criminal proceedings; to deposit his passport; and to wear an electronic means of control.
Solskyi and several other suspects are charged with seizing 2500 hectares of state land (worth UAH 291 million) and attempting to seize about 3300 hectares more (worth UAH 190 million).
