The GUR said that the Yamal large landing ship in Sevastopol was critically damaged in a missile strike on March 23.
It is claimed that the missile hit the shipyard where the Yamal was moored. The ship, according to Ukrainian intelligence, got a hole in the upper deck and heeled to starboard. Now water is being pumped out.
There is no damage from the Russian side.
A number of public media outlets, citing satellite imagery, claim that the two missiles hit the pier next to the landing ships and an empty dock. In other words, the ships were not damaged.
Opposition Russian telegram channels report that, in addition to the Yamal, the Azov battleship and the Ivan Khurs reconnaissance ship were damaged.
Satellite images of unknown origin are published on the Internet, which allegedly show the Azov with damage on the left side. There are also images of what is alleged to be the Yamal.
