Rocket attack on Kyiv: Rozetka warehouse burns down and three food industry companies are damaged

As a result of today's rocket attack on Kyiv, the warehouse of Ukraine's largest online retailer Rozetka burned down. This was reported by the company's founder and owner Vladyslav Chechetkin.

He posted a photo of the aftermath of the attack on his Facebook page, noting that the company's employees were not injured.

"The building was damaged, our cars were damaged, which were turned upside down by the blast wave, and the goods were damaged (please forgive us, dear customers, we may be delayed with deliveries today)," Chechetkin wrote.

He added that 99 people were working on the shift. They were not injured.

"I am grateful to our security service, which has developed protocols for attacks and makes everyone follow the rules. People were in the bomb shelter and thus remained invulnerable," the Rozetka owner emphasized.

In addition, Interfax-Ukraine, citing the press service of Stolychnyi Mlyn, reports that the attack affected a number of food industry enterprises that ensure the food safety of the capital, including Stolychnyi Mlyn LLC and Kyivtranslogistik LLC. They supply raw materials and carry out transportation to strategic manufacturing enterprises, including Kyivkhlib, a leading bread supplier in Kyiv and Kyiv region.

According to the report, the elevator complex was damaged, as well as the territory, buildings and more than 50 vehicles.

"Currently, the damage is estimated at at least UAH 40 million. The final amount of losses will be possible to estimate after the work of a special commission. Fortunately, there were no injuries among the company's employees," the press service emphasized.
