Russians attacked 4 cities in Sumy region: there is destruction (UPDATED)

On March 14, the Russian army attacked Sumy and other cities of Sumy region with Shahed kamikaze drones, using missiles in two cities. This was reported in the morning by the RMA. 


"The enemy attacked the civilian infrastructure of four cities in Sumy region with Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles: Sumy, Shostka, Trostyanets and Bilopillia. They also launched missile strikes on Shostka and Trostyanets," the statement said. 


Emergency and rescue services are working at the sites of hits, the consequences of the strikes are still being clarified, the RMA noted. 


Later, the Ministry of Energy reported that as a result of the shelling in Sumy region, a 330 kV high-voltage line of NPC Ukrenergo was disconnected - a wire was found to be broken.


"The equipment of a boiler house in one of the cities of Sumy region was also damaged, the boiler house is disconnected from gas supply," the statement said.


According to the police press service, on March 13, Russians fired at settlements in Sumy region. A total of 374 attacks were recorded.


"As a result, 3 civilians were killed, 12 others were injured, 27 private houses and 2 residential multi-storey buildings were damaged. Civilian infrastructure was also damaged," the statement said.

Television infrastructure facilities in Sumy region are out of commission, reports RMA.


As a result of missile attack, broadcasting transmitters in Sumy, Shostka, Bilopillia and Trostyanets were damaged.

Ukrainian television and radio signals may not be received in the region. There may be interruptions in mobile communications.
