A fire broke out in Oryol after a strike on an oil depot on the night of March 12. The fire is being extinguished by 60 people and a fire train. This was reported on the TASS Telegram channel.
A representative of the government of the Oryol region said that a drone hit an oil storage facility in the regional center, setting one of the tanks on fire.
"An oil storage tank in Oryol is on fire, more than 60 people are working to extinguish it," a representative of the press service of the Oryol regional government told TASS.
The governor of the Oryol region, Andrei Klitschkov, said that there were no casualties as a result of the drone strike.
"A drone crashed in Oryol. A fuel and energy facility was attacked. Special services are working at the scene to localize the fire. No one was injured," the governor said.

On the night of Tuesday, March 12, drones attacked the Kursk, Belgorod, Tula, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Bryansk, Leningrad, Oryol regions of the Russian Federation, as well as Moscow. The Lukoil company reported that the refinery had been shut down due to the "incident," while the Oryol region authorities said that a drone hit an oil storage facility in Oryol and one of the tanks caught fire.
The media also report that a 2000-cubic meter tank was damaged: a leak occurred at an oil depot in Oryol after a drone attack.
According to the Russian Telegram channel Astra, citing its own sources, a 2000 cubic meter tank containing 150 tons of gasoline was damaged in a drone attack at the Oryolnefteprodukt JSC enterprise. A leak of oil products was detected.
After the fall of the second UAV, which happened an hour and a half later, two industrial buildings on the company's premises were damaged.
Russian media reports a fire in the area of the Southern Thermal Power Plant in St. Petersburg. At the same time, the local Emergencies Ministry assures that "a two-story warehouse building is on fire, pallets have caught fire," the fire area is 80 square meters, and "there is no threat of spreading to neighboring buildings," Fontanka reports.
In Oryol, where the oil depot was burning, they announced that they were "eliminating the consequences of a nighttime UAV attack."
"The smoke that has arisen does not pose any danger and is the result of the work of the fire services," said the governor of the Oryol region, Andrey Klitschkov.
