Drone attack on Ukraine: 15 out of 25 UAVs shot down

On the night of March 11, the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 15 Shahed kamikaze drones. In total, Russian troops launched 25 such drones for another attack. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU and the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine.


"At night, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine using 25 Shahed UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces and means destroyed 15 attack UAVs," the military command said in a morning report.


Most of the enemy drones, namely ten, were destroyed in the sky over Odesa region. The military noted that it was a massive drone attack on the region, and the combat work to repel the air strike lasted an hour and a half.


The South Operational Command also clarified that the Shaheds entered from the Black Sea and complicated the work of air defense by maneuvering between residential and industrial areas.
