There are 2300 trucks in line at the border with Poland: The SBGS named the most "difficult" directions

As of the morning of Thursday, March 7, 2300 trucks are queuing at the border between Ukraine and Poland. The traffic situation is extremely difficult at three of the six blocked checkpoints - Krakowiec, Yagodyn and Shehyni. This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during a telethon.

"As of this morning, this figure is about 2,300 trucks. This is in total in all six directions where Polish farmers continue to block or obstruct traffic for trucks. Most of all, it is opposite the Krakowiec and Yagodyn checkpoints," he said.

Demchenko noted that Polish farmers continue to block traffic for trucks leaving Ukraine and entering Poland, in particular, at the Yagodyn checkpoint.

"Of course, there is also a small amount of traffic in this direction in the opposite direction towards Ukraine. Over the past day, about 50 trucks crossed," he added.

According to him, the situation is also quite complicated in the direction of the Shehyni checkpoint.

"If from Friday to Monday they blocked traffic for trucks in both directions. Since Monday, although they have been letting through, they have been letting through an almost negligible number of trucks. For example, over the past day, 20 trucks crossed into Ukraine through this checkpoint, while only 3 trucks crossed into Poland, which were accepted by the neighboring side," the speaker stated.
