On the night of March 6, Russian troops attacked Odesa region with Shahed-131/136 attack drones. This was reported by the head of the RMA, Oleh Kiper, on Telegram.
According to his data, the defense forces shot down 18 enemy drones in the region. No one was killed or injured.
"Russian terrorists have once again insidiously directed attack drones at settlements and industrial facilities in the coastal zone. Maneuvers of drones in residential areas complicated the work of air defense forces," noted Kiper.
According to the head of the RMA, a recreational facility, a gas pipeline and private sector residential buildings were damaged as a result of the falling wreckage of downed drones in Odesa district.
Natalia Humeniuk, spokesperson for the Operational Command "South", said in a telethon that the Air Defense Forces destroyed 20 kamikaze drones in the south. The attack drones were changing their flight routes.
"They have been maneuvering between residential areas and right between high-rise buildings in Odesa for the last night in a row. Two drones were destroyed in the Kherson region in the so-called "fly zone". 18 - in Odesa region," the spokeswoman noted.
